The location is rural, quiet and beautiful with easy access by car to nearby Galena and the Mississippi River as well as numerous parks and natural reserves for walking, sightseeing, etc. Our hosts were as accommodating as they were discreet; the breakfasts were abundant, delicious and healthy, including homemade baked treats, and served at our convenience.

The staff was amazing. Elliott in the pub was wonderful and so knowledgeable. Clean and quiet. I was here 10 years ago and the place still looks great.

This was our very first visit to Galena, and we truly can't wait to do it again! Best Western was a great place to stay would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was phenomenal. We truly can't speak highly enough about Miriam the front desk agent 🫶🏻 From the first moment we met her for our check-in till the time we checked out she is an absolute fabulous employee you have there. We loved everything about the house. The living room on the last floor was exceptional! We loved that the room had games inside it. Overall, this is one of the best houses in Galena and I highly recommend it!
